The kit for the mechanical model Traum Cabriolet VM-05 by Ugears is a highly detailed and extremely realistic tribute to the highlights of the automotive industry of the 50s. It's a time of splendid luxury cars and convertibles and of course rockabilly music, swing dresses and bobby socks.

The 50s had given cars a completely new look and produced absolutely unique designs. The Ugears self-propelled Dream Cabriolet VM-05 consists of 739 parts and is equipped with a rubber band drive, which drives the mechanism so that the car can drive independently. The cabriolet can move forward or backward. So that you can take a close look at the beautiful 8-cylinder V-engine during operation, we have introduced idle mode. In this mode your cabriolet stays parked and lets you look under the hood to see the beauty of the moving cylinders.

If you want to set your vehicle in motion, pull the transmission lever at the steering wheel. Both the front and rear of the model are spring-loaded. To make the design of this unique model even more realistic, Ugears engineers added a few important elements that make the car look extremely lifelike. We believe you'll enjoy the window cranks and fully functional wipers, as well as the jack and repair toolkit located in the boot.

Other mechanical features are the boot and hood opening mechanisms that give this highly detailed vintage car a certain extra liveliness.
