The Slash is modeled after the real 900PS Short Course Race Truck from Traxxas and offers everyone the opportunity to experience the loaded off-road action at home - whether on the race track, on dirt roads or in the garden. With its rear-wheel drive and independent suspension, the 2WD Short Course is as close as possible to the real thing. The chassis design, the oil-filled shock absorbers and the advanced rubber compound of the tires guarantee driving pleasure whether on asphalt, in dust or over stones.
The Short Course Truck is designed for extreme Velineon Brushless Power (sold separately), which allows the speed to be increased to 65 km/h. If you use a 11.1V Traxxas Power Cell LiPo you can even double the speed. The fully ball bearing mounted drive and the steel track rods are already designed for brushless. The factory-set planetary differential with hardened steel gears requires no additional adjustment, is durable and perfectly tuned for everyday driving pleasure. The battery holder is also suitable for Traxxas LiPo batteries to increase the driving time or speed. TQ 2.4GHz 2 channel remote control
With the included 2.4GHz remote control you do not need to set channels or frequencies. The ergonomic design looks very attractive due to the integrated and therefore protected antenna. The TQ is lightweight and fits well in the hand.
Traxxas 7 cells 8.4 Volt NiMH battery
Included is a powerful 7 cell 8.4 Volt NiMH battery with foil covered cells, flexible silicone cables and gold contact plugs. The iD connector, in conjunction with the Traxxas iD charger (sold separately), provides unique protection for the battery by detecting the type of battery and automatically adjusting the charging process. The included battery can be replaced at any time by other NiMH batteries or LiPos with higher performance and longer battery life.
12 Volt 4 Amp quick charger
The 12 Volt 4 Amp charger allows fast and convenient charging and informs you about the charging status at any time by a built-in LED light. It is perfectly matched to the included battery.
Waterproof electronics
The 12T 550 modified engine with built-in radiator has a long life span. The XL-5 controller offers 3 driving profiles and is easy to operate with the EZ set with only one button. The controller and the receiver box are sealed, which allows driving through water, mud and snow.
The exclusive patented training mode limits the power to 50% at the touch of a button, making it ideal for young riders or beginners.
