Just like its predecessor, the DX5 Rugged, this transmitter offers exceptional ergonomics. The result is a first-class transmitter with unparalleled robustness and other innovative features that excel in precision, versatility, and user-friendliness that you won't want to miss.
To cope with the wild everyday life, the DX6 Rugged not only offers practical 6 channels, but also provides a range of switches for special functions such as lights, winches, or similar. Operation is via a touch-sensitive control panel, which better protects the transmitter against moisture. Tap with your fingertip on the desired menu item, option, or value. In addition, we have equipped the easily readable LCD display with backlighting that provides unparalleled brightness and clarity even under the most difficult conditions. Thanks to the integrated telemetry and smart telemetry function, you can display important data such as motor speed, vehicle speed, battery voltage, and temperature directly on the transmitter in real-time. In addition, the integrated USB-C port allows for hassle-free firmware updates for uninterrupted functionality.
Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) molded shock edges protect the transmitter from falling or bumping and even against the occasional impact. There is no external antenna that can shear off - a small increase in the housing protects the high-speed output signal. A versatile front housing protector further increases durability and also offers the option to mount a camera, a light source, or other equipment. The two mounting points allow you to attach a strap so that the transmitter is within easy reach but your hands are free when you're not busy driving. An easily accessible compartment allows you to store a few small tools, such as a T-key that can snap into the provided position. We've also improved the water repellency* of the transmitter to give you a little more leeway if a splash or a few raindrops do come onto the system. We round it off with an aggressive off-road style steering wheel equipped with an innovative thumb lever to make one-handed control of your vehicle safer and more precise.
Regardless of what you drive, the programmable AVC® technology in the DX6 Rugged can be adjusted to suit your skill and driving style precisely, giving you the feeling that you are driving a vehicle that reacts predictably in every situation.

Updated Capacitive Interface
We have updated our capacitive interface to allow tapping instead of swiping. This makes the control panel much easier to use, and the sensitivity can be easily adjusted in the transmitter programming. This new interface is also designed to work flawlessly in various environmental conditions.
New Back-Lit Display
The new backlit LCD display of the DX6 Rugged makes it easy for users to navigate through the intuitive software in any environment. The display is excellent for reading in the dark as well as in bright daylight.
Unmatched Durability
Starting with a housing based on the excellent ergonomic Spektrum design, we were inspired by the impact resistance of battery-powered power tools. We have transferred this technology to the specific needs of the RC driver. The result is a shock-absorbing, rubber bumper design that surrounds the transmitter housing, providing protection never before offered in a surface transmitter.

Aggressive Styling

In addition, with the audio tone alarm system, you can program your DX6 Rugged to notify you when pre-set telemetry values are reached or exceeded.
AVC® (Active Vehicle Control™) Programming Frequency Agile DSMR® Technology
The DX6 Rugged features frequency agile DSMR 2.4GHz technology. This exclusive Spektrum™ technology can be used with any vehicle type (including boats). Range and response time are excellent, especially in noisy 2.4GHz environments. It is also backward compatible with DSM2® and marine-specific Spektrum receivers. This means that existing receivers can usually be reused. You only need an upgrade if you attach particular importance to the frequency agility of the DSMR receivers in environments with a lot of 2.4GHz radio traffic.
AVC® (Active Vehicle Control™) Programming
The DX6 allows you to finely adjust the AVC system to your needs using dedicated and easily accessible settings. In addition, free channels can be used to adjust the influence of AVC on steering and throttle independently. Regardless of what you drive, the AVC system supports you in tuning your vehicle in harmony with your driving skills and style, giving you the feeling of driving a perfectly tuned vehicle that reacts predictably at any speed.
