The Rookie can be easily thrown around like a glider. Once your children or wife are comfortable with it, you can hand them the transmitter to control the plane themselves. Simply mark the landing area and the take-off line, and the fun can begin. The Rookie can even be towed behind almost any EPP model – launch up to three Rookies at a time and organize exciting competitions to see who lands last.

Easy Towing and Flying
Even without a suitable towing model at hand, the Rookie can be effortlessly launched with a rubber band and Kevlar thread. A 5-meter rubber band combined with a 20-30 meter Kevlar thread is enough to get the Rookie soaring into the sky.

Ideal for Beginners and Safe to Use
The Rookie's lightweight and stability minimize the risk of damage, making it perfect for beginners and kids to fly without constant supervision. Its sensitivity to thermals also allows you to enjoy flying it, using even weak thermal updrafts to gain altitude.

To get the Rookie flying, you will need 2 x 6g servos, a 1s LiPol battery with about 600mAh, a transmitter with a micro receiver, and about an hour to build. We recommend the FS i6 transmitter with FS2A receiver, which feels great in kids' hands and is cost-effective. If you need assistance soldering the receiver pins, we are happy to help upon request.
