The Flash CL is a cable-driven control line model, true to its name. This method of control predates the era of RC kits, originating as the oldest form of model control. While RC models have since gained popularity, tethered models remain prevalent in racing categories, cherished for their enduring appeal and thrilling flying experiences. As stated by Mr. Ing. Jaromír Schindler in 1954:

"We recognize the significance of control line models lies in the modeler's hands-on understanding, often at the expense of model breakage, mastering the function of the elevator."

Control is straightforward, focusing solely on elevator control with flap support.

Designed primarily as a training model, the Flash CL prioritizes flight characteristics: it flies slower than typical tethered models yet maintains crucial line tension during even the most daring overhead maneuvers. Despite its training focus, it maneuvers through all aerobatic turns capably. Flight dynamics are forgiving, ensuring ease of handling, and repairs are simple using standard instant glue. Its benefits include compact space requirements and affordability, eliminating the need for an RC system.

The motor can be controlled in two ways: either via any RC receiver with an RC kit or through a dedicated timer.
