The K-8B from Phoenix Model is a large glider with 6 m wingspan in classic design, as it is found on many glider airfields of the man-carrying guild. The model is manufactured in excellent quality as a ready-covered wooden construction. The K-8B has a split fuselage and a four-part wing, so that transport is also possible with a normal car.
Absolutely true to the original
This model of Phoenix is in no way inferior to its prototype. Many beautiful details make the K-8B look like the original when viewed on the ground. And also in the air the model gives an absolutely scales flight picture, which is hardly to be distinguished from the flight picture of the man-carrying prototype.
Wooden construction with enormously high degree of prefabrication
The model is manufactured in extremely lightweight and high-strength, laser-cut wooden construction. Thereby the construction impresses with an enormously high degree of prefabrication whereby the construction effort is reduced almost to the installation of the electronics (and if necessary the drive).
Original Oracover covering
The flight model is completely ready covered with Oracover film, which on the one hand is known for its durability and on the other hand provides a great look.
Optional designed for electric drive
The K-8B from Phoenix is designed für the optional electric drive, which efficiently pulls the model into thermals. All necessary parts for the installation of an electric motor are included. We recommend a 63 brushless outboard with 280KV in combination with a 150A HV regulator and two 6S battery.
