Variable fork rudder lever made of CFRP, 7-piece with built-in ball joint 993008. The variable rudder lever is very easy to fit.

Screw the threaded piece (M5) of the rudder lever, shortened as required, into a hole (diameter 4.8 mm) provided in the rudder blade. Adjust the length and shorten or fit the corresponding CFRP moulded sleeve.

Installation with an additional bracket is easily possible after grinding the corresponding moulded sleeve. The length of the rudder lever can be adjusted from 13 mm to 35 mm.

Carry out the final assembly with a 2K epoxy adhesive.

The 7-piece CFRP set consists of lever, 3 moulded sleeves, ball joint and screw connection. Our lever lengths are available from 13 mm to 5 1 mm. The rudder levers can be easily glued and painted. We manufacture our fork rudder levers from high-density carbon fibre plastic (nylon with 45% carbon fibre content).

The levers are given their appearance in hardened stainless steel moulds at 300 °C and under high pressure (1800 bar).

As this process has similarities with the manufacture of highly stressed components in large aircraft construction, Gabriel has adopted it for the manufacture of these control levers.

The result is a high-strength component that bears comparison with duralumin.

However, it is lighter and more vibration-resistant. All rudder levers are manufactured in Germany on state-of-the-art CNC machines.
