Overview:
The E-flite Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m has been evolved into the smartest, most practical and most powerful version of the Timber! The popular features of the original Timber have of course all been retained: the sprung undercarriage with large Tundra-style wheels; the optional floats and slats as well as the functional slatted doors and LED lighting with landing, nav and strobe lights. Of course, the upgrades to the Turbo Timber that gave it more power and versatility were also included. These include the turboprop-style nose, 3-blade prop and spinner, more powerful 3S and 4S compatible drive and stiffened wings with robust and reliable metal gear servos. With the Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m we have gone one step further and implemented battery access at the top of the model to make battery changes even quicker and more convenient, and a combined connector to facilitate wing mounting. The undercarriage mounts have been strengthened to improve the strength and STOL capability of the undercarriage on rough terrain.
We have equipped the proven Turbo Timber drive with an exclusive Spektrum Avian 60A Smart controller and the BNF Basic version with an AR637TA receiver to provide you with full-range telemetry data in real time to your compatible transmitter. This includes battery voltage, current, motor speed and more, and the controller even offers thrust reversal for special manoeuvres on the ground. All this, of course, comes with the benefits of AS3X and optional SAFE Select technology. The colour scheme of the durable, plastic-reinforced cell has also been revised and looks fresh and modern. The Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m remains the best choice for a successor model after the first trainer and continues to offer a wide range of pilots a great everyday model with excellent STOL characteristics – We've just made it better now!
