Founded in 1978, Texas-based Air Tractor is a leading manufacturer of aircraft for agricultural, fire-fighting and other utility applications. Air Tractor aircraft can be found in more than 30 countries around the world over fields and forests in the toughest conditions. The AT-500 series aircraft were first deployed in the United States on April 25, 1986. Since then, it has become one of the world's most popular family of turboprop aircraft for aviation, including spraying and fire fighting. The E-flite Air Tractor 1.5 m model is factory-fitted with the familiar, highly visible yellow-blue decor with moulded sheet metal joints, rivets and much more. It is also equipped with functional features such as LED navigation and landing lights, split flaps and oversized wheels. In addition, the excellent flight characteristics make the Air Tractor the ideal choice as your first scale or low wing model.

Air Tractor agricultural and commercial aircraft have earned a reputation for easy handling, incredible handling qualities and unsurpassed versatility. We have applied these qualities to the E-flite Air Tractor 1.5m scale model, making it the perfect low wing model for advanced and experienced RC pilots. The specially tuned motor and 3-blade propeller are tuned to a 50 amp controller to achieve fantastic scale and sport flight characteristics with 3S 2200-3200mAh LiPo batteries. For even more power and unlimited vertical climbing performance you can simply use a 4S LiPo without any further changes or upgrades. The split flaps improve handling at low airspeed and also offer STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) characteristics. Thanks to the robust landing gear and wheels with oversized tires, the Air Tractor can be flown in any park or RC airfield with suitable size of asphalt, grass, sand or gravel surfaces. Expand the possibilities even further by installing the optional floats (EFL5261, sold separately) and flying from large ponds or small lakes - or attach the optional model-like skis (EFLA970, also sold separately) to take off from and land on snow. The factory-applied paint and decor provides excellent visibility and an eye-catching, prototypical look, further enhanced by LED navigation, strobe lights and landing lights. The E-flite Air Tractor 1.5 m offers a unique flying experience that will appeal to a wide range of pilots, even if it is the first scale or low wing model.
